Phulbani: Out of the 14 fresh COVID-19 cases reported from Kandhamal district in the last 24 hours, 13 were local contact cases, the district administration said on Tuesday.
The 13 local contacts were reported from containment zones, including 11 from Baliguda block and 2 from Ghudukapadar village in Chakapada block.
Also, and infected corona warrior from Block Colony in Daringbadi block was referred to SUM Hospital in Bhubaneswar for treatment.
With one death and 245 recoveries so far, Kandhamal district has 206 active cases at present.
