Nayagarh: The Nayagarh district administration on Wednesday rescheduled the opening time for shops and trading establishments amid the coronavirus-induced lockdown.
Briefing mediapersons here, Collector Poma Tudu said all shops and trading establishments in the district will now remain open from 6 am to 1 pm. Filling stations and medicine outlets, however, will be allowed to operate beyond 1 pm.
Notably, Nayagarh is among the 11 districts where weekly shutdown is being imposed on Saturday and Sunday for the entire month of June in view of the steady rise in the number of COVID-19 positives cases.
The district, till date, has reported 132 positive cases and 111 patients among them have recovered.
