Keonjhar: The Barbil town in Odisha’s Keonjhar district has been shut down for a week after the detection of 11 local COVID-19 cases.
Informing the media here, Collector Ashish Thakare said the entire town will remain shut for a week from Sunday to contain the spread of the virus. Contact tracing and active surveillance will be carried out during this period.
Barring essential services, all business and trading establishments will remain closed during the weeklong shutdown, he added.
