COVID-19: PM Modi Sticks To Social Distancing Norms During Cabinet Meeting

New Delhi: Keeping in view the surging coronavirus cases in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not only issuing advisories to the nation, but himself abiding by the precautionary measures to contain the spread of the infection.

According to media reports, the PM was seen holding a cabinet meeting at his residence on Wednesday with his council of ministers sitting at a distance of at least 2 metres from each other.

The number of COVID-19 cases in India has crossed 560 and 11 people have succumbed to the disease till now.

In an attempt to fight off the virus, a complete lockdown has been imposed across the country till April 14, as a precautionary measure.
