Cuttack: The COVID-19 positive cases in the city crossed 10,000 with 312 new patients identified in the last 24 hours.
According to Cuttack Municipal Corporation, of the new cases, 59 were detected in institutional quarantine centres, 111 in home quarantine while 142 were local contacts.
Of the home quarantine patients, 7 are from Khapuria and 5 each from CDA, Bidyadharpur, Dolamundai and Sheikhbazar.
Similarly, the local contact cases included 12 in Nayabazar, 11 in Chauliaganj, 7 in Bidanasi and 6 in Badambadi.
With the day’s figure, the total COVID-19 positive cases have gone up to 10,233 in the city. While 7695 patients have recovered, 40 have succumbed to the disease. There are 2498 active cases at present.
