Bhubaneswar: Going by the rising trend in coronavirus positive cases in Odisha, the number might reach 25000-30,000 by the end of July, said Dr Jayant Panda, technical adviser to the state government, on COVID-19 on Sunday.
He also said that the death toll in the state, which has gone up to 91 with five more casualties on Sunday, might increase by 50 by the end of this month.
However, instead of thinking about rise in number of infected people and mortality, the state government is focusing more on treatment of those who are contracting the virus, he added.
