Cuttack: A private coaching centre at Chandi Chhak and a shopping complex at Ranihat in Cuttack city were sealed on Thursday for COVID-19 guidelines violation.
The Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) shut the supermarket running on the premises of an erstwhile Hind Cinema here after people were found flouting the safety protocols. It was also overcrowded.
The CMC has intensified enforcement after two clusters of coronavirus emerged in the city between March 18 and March 22.
The city reported 20 fresh cases in the last 24 hours.
