Bhubaneswar: The number of patients who recovered from COVID-19 in the state crossed 20,000 on Friday with 772 more added to the list on Friday. They were being discharged from different hospitals.
Of the recovered patients on the day, maximum 212 were from Ganjam, followed by 116 from Cuttack, 81 from Khurda, 68 from Keonjhar, 41 from Koraput, 31 from Rayagada, 27 from Gajapati, 24 from Sundargarh, 21 from Jajpur, 20 from Kalahandi, 19 from Nabarangpur, 18 from Mayurbhanj, 14 from Kandhamal, 12 from Malkangiri, 11 from Sambalpur, and 10 each from Bhadrak, Kendrapara and Puri.
The number of patients who recovered in other districts on the day is as follow:
6 in Baragarh
5 in Balangir
4 in Balasore
3 each in Boudh, Jagatsinghpur & Jharsuguda
1 each in Angul, Nayagarh & Sonepur.
With today’s recuperated patients, the total recovered cases in the state went up to 20,517.
