Bhubaneswar: Even as 282 new corona positive cases were detected in the state on Wednesday, 135 patients recovered from the disease on the day.
With the day’s recovery count, the total recovered figure went up to 4,123. Of the fresh recovered patients, maximum 49 were reported from the corona hot spot Ganjam district.
While Khurda registered 19 recovered patients, Kalahandi had 16, Jagatsinghpur 14, Balasore seven, Cuttack six, Angul, Jajpur and Puri four each, Sundargarh three, Keonjhar and Kendrapara two each.
Bargarh, Bhadrak, Jharsuguda, Mayurbhanj and Sambalpur districts reported one recovered case each.
On the other hand, the COVID-19 tally in the state went up to 5,752 with 282 new positive cases reported from 17 districts in the last 24 hours. Gajapati recorded the highest of 76 cases followed by Ganjam 75.
