Bhubaneswar: With daily COVID-19 positive cases rushing towards 300-mark in Odisha, the recoveries mad a jump to 161 on Wednesday from Tuesday’s 121.
Of the recovered patients on the day, Khurda district reported the highest for second day with 35 patients, followed by 25 from Cuttack, 22 from Nuapada, 12 from Sundargarh, 11 from Mayurbhanj and 6 from Ganjam, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
The recoveries from other districts are as follow:
4 each from Balasore, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur and Rayagada
3 each from Angul, Bargarh, Balangir and Deogarh
2 each from Jharsuguda, Kalahandi, Koraput, Puri and Sonepur
1 each from Kendrapada, Keonjhar, Nabarangpur and Sambalpur
8 from State Pool
The total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 3,37,091 while the active cases have touched 2013.
