Bhubaneswar: The number of recoveries continued to be more than new cases in the state as 2842 patients recovered from COVID-19 against 2,196 positive cases on Saturday.
Maximum recoveries of 434 patients were reported from Khurda district, followed by 237 from Cuttack, 161 from Nuapada, 148 from Puri, 136 from Sambalpur, 119 from Angul, 117 from Kalahandi, 108 from Jharsuguda and 100 from Jajpur, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
Similarly, 94 patients recovered in Bhadrak, 93 in Bargarh, 92 in Mayurbhanj, 91 in Sundargarh, 85 in Jagatsinghpur, 78 in Nayagarh, 76 in Kendrapada, 68 in Keonjhar, 60 in Dhenkanal, 58 in Balangir, 53 in Nabarangpur, 50 in Kandhamal, 48 in Sonepur, 41 each in Koraput and Malkangiri, 30 in Ganjam, 27 in Balasore, 21 in Boudh, 18 in Rayagada, 17 in Deogarh and 13 in Gajapati. There were also 128 recovered cases from State Pool.
The total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 2,44,227 against 2,66,345 positive cases.
