Bhubaneswar: After swinging between 350 and 400 for a week, the figure of recoveries from COVID-19 dropped below 350 in Odisha on Sunday when 338 more patients recovered from the disease and were discharged from hospitals.
Of the day’s recoveries, 49 were from Khurda, 36 from Sundargarh, 21 each from Bhadrak and Cuttack, 20 from Balasore, 18 each from Angul and Mayurbhanj, 17 from Bargarh, 15 each from Kalahandi and Puri, 14 from Jharsuguda, 12 from Nuapada and 10 from Sambalpur, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
The recovery figures from other districts are as follow:
9 each from Jajpur and Keonjhar
8 from Jagatsinghpur
6 each from Balangir and Ganjam
5 from Kendrapada
3 each from Deogarh, Dhenkanal and Rayagada
2 each from Koraput, Nabarangpur and Nayagarh
1 from Sonepur
13 from State Pool
The total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 3,21,647 against 3,26,233 positive tally with 372 new cases reported overnight.
