COVID-19: Rourkela Reports 33 Local Contact Cases, Tally Crosses 1000 In Odisha’s Sundargarh District

Rourkela: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha’s Sundargarh district crossed 1020 on Saturday with an overnight addition of 47 fresh cases. Besides, the district also reported one death in the last 24 hours.

Of the new positive cases, 34 are local cases, 10 are direct contacts and three have travel history to Gujarat and Bangalore.

Out of the 34 new local contact cases reported in the district, 33 are from Rourkela Municipal Corporation (RMC) area while one is from Baligarh in Sundargarh Sadar block.

 

With four deaths and 734 recoveries, Sundargarh district has 279 active cases at present.
