Balasore: Following detection of six COVID-19 cases, Kantabania village under Genguti gram panchayats of Sadar block in Odisha’s Balasore district was declared as containment zones on Sunday to contain further spread of the virus.
The restrictions will remain in force till August 1.
CONTAINMENT ZONE:
1-Kantabania Chhaka (Entrance)
2-Hanuman Mandir Chhaka
Barricades have been put up in the area to restrict people from entering and leaving the area.
Residents have been asked to strictly remain at home. Besides, all shopping establishments, government and private institutions within the boundary of the containment zone will remain closed. There will be no vehicular movement.
The supply of essentials and medical requirements will be ensured through various teams formed by the block administration, an official notification said.
