Phulbani: To contain the spread of COVID-19, traders in G Udayagiri in Kandhamal district have decided to shut down their business establishments for two days from Saturday.
Earlier, the traders of G Udayagiri had sought permission from the district administration to down their shutters for two days till Sunday.
It may be mentioned that COVID-19 cases in Kandhamal have gone up alarmingly with a total 4,645 cases reported till Friday.
With 23 deaths and 4,085 recoveries, the district has 537 active cases at present.
