Bhubaneswar: Seven new COVID-19 positive cases were reported in the capital city in the last 24 hours.
Of the new cases, three were from quarantine centres and four local contacts, according to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC). Two cases were reported from Shastri Nagar and two from Sailashri Vihar.
Nine patients have been cured of the disease during the period.
A total of 31,868 people have been infected by the novel coronavirus in Bhubaneswar so far, of which 31,406 have recovered. While 246 have succumbed to the disease, there are 195 active cases at present.
