Bhubaneswar: Odisha recorded 82 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the I&PR Department informed on Saturday.
Of the new cases detected in 20 districts, 49 are from quarantine and 33 are local contacts.
Sundargarh reported the highest of 15 cases, followed by Angul (9), Sambalpur (7), Bargarh (6), five each in Balangir, Khurda, Mayurbhanj and Cuttack, three each in Balasore, Deogarh and Jajpur, two each in Jharsuguda, Ganjam, Sonepur, Keonjhar, Puri, and Rayagada, one each in Kalahandi, Gajapati, and Nuapada.
Besides, the state pool has one case.
At present, Odisha has 853 active cases while 3,32,733 patients have recovered.
