Bhubaneswar: Utkal Royal Residency sealing order issued on April 23 was withdrawn by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Monday.
The apartment at Kalpana Square in the Odisha capital was sealed for 10 days till May 2 after the detection of several COVID-19 cases.
The BMC, however, withdrew the order for the convenience of the inhabitants.
According to the April 23 order, the apartment was to be sanitized by the Apartment Residents Society, and no one was allowed to move into and out of the premises. Those infected were directed to remain in home isolation for 10 days, followed by 7 days of self-monitored home quarantine.
The BMC had also planned to conduct RT-PCR test camp for all residents of the apartment on April 24 and 25.
