Bhubaneswar: The Nandankanan Zoo on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar will remain closed from tomorrow. The zoo authorities took a decision in this regard in the wake of rising COVID-19 cases.
The zoo authorities, in a notification, said the zoo and Botanical Garden will remain closed to the visitors till May 15.
It may be recalled during the first wave of COVID-19, the zoo was closed on March 15 last year.
However, with the improvement in the situation, the zoo was reopened on October 4.
