Cuttack: The block office of Nischintakoili in the district was closed down on Sunday after some of its employees tested COVID-19 positive on Sunday.
According to Nischintakoili BDO Karnadev Sammadar, the test reports of 17 employees of the office confirmed them to be COVID-19 positive. All are asymptomatic and have been asked to remain under home quarantine, he added.
Contact tracing revealed that 7 other people also tested positive for the virus, Sammadar said adding that the office will remain closed for three days.
