Bhubaneswar: Sundargarh district topped in COVID-19 positive as well as recovered cases among the districts of the state on Saturday.
The Health and Family Welfare department tweeted that 405 patients recovered from the disease and were discharged from hospitals on the day. Of them, highest 55 were from Sundargarh, followed by 52 from Khurda, 34 from Angul, 29 from Cuttack, 27 from Balangir, 23 from Bargarh, 21 from Jajpur, 19 from Puri, 17 from Mayurbhanj, 14 from Jagatsinghpur, 12 from Jharsuguda, 11 from Deogarh and 12 from State Pool.
The recovered cases from other districts are as follow:
9 each from Balasore, Kendrapada and Nuapada
8 each from Bhadrak, Kalahandi and Sambalpur
6 each from Keonjhar and Nayagarh
4 from Ganjam
3 each from Koraput, Malkangiri and Nabarangpur
1 each from Dhenkanal, Rayagada and Sonepur
