COVID-19: Surge In Local Contact Cases In Odisha’s Mayurbhanj

Baripada: The COVID-19 positive cases in Mayurbhanj district touched 822 on Friday with 34 new cases in the last 24 hours.

Among them, 29 are local contact cases and another four have been reported from quarantine centres. One among them is a COVID warrior at Khunta block.

The highest of 10 cases have been reported from Karanjia block followed by five from Badasahi block and four from Jashipur block.

With one death and 579 recoveries, Mayurbhanj now has 240 active cases.
