COVID-19 Tally Breaches 1400 In Odisha’s Malkangiri, One More Succumbs

Malkangiri: The total COVID-19 positive cases in the district went up to 1402 on Tuesday with 55 new cases.

According to the district administration, all are local contact cases while two are COVID warriors.

The highest 23 cases were reported from Malkangiri municipality, followed by 13 from Mathili block, seven from Khoriput block, six from Balimela, and three each from Chitrakonda and Korukonda blocks.

Moreover, the district reported the death of one more COVID-19 patient taking the toll to three. The 61-year-old man also had ailments of hypertension, diabetes mellitus, CAD and bronchial asthma. He was under treatment at KIMS, Bhubaneswar.

With three deaths and 902 recoveries, the district now has 498 active cases.
