Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha went up to 2,40,998 on Wednesday with 2,995 new cases reported overnight.
Among the new cases from all 30 districts, 1737 are in quarantine and 1258 are local contacts.
Khurda led the tally with 568 cases, followed by Cuttack (166), Puri (145), Angul (142), Sambalpur (138), Kendrapada (135), Balasore (121), Sundargarh (101), Bargarh (93), Mayurbhanj (92), Balangir (94), Jajpur (90), Sonepur (87), Malkangiri (82), Nuapada (74), Dhenkanal (68), Nabarangpur (67), Jharsuguda (64), Kalahandi (63), Jagatsinghpur (62), Keonjhar (61), Ganjam (47), Nayagarh (44), Kandhamal (43), Koraput (43), Boudh (31), Bhadrak (28), Deogarh (20), Rayagada (17) and Gajapati (7).
Besides, the state pool has 202 cases.
As of Wednesday, Odisha has 29,770 active cases and 2,10,217 patients have recovered.
