COVID-19 Tally Nears 24K In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: COVID-19 cases in Bhubaneswar continue to rise with the total tally in the city rising to 23,914 on Tuesday. There were 365 new cases in the last 24 hours.

Among the new cases, 116 are in quarantine and 249 are local contacts.

Among the areas in the city, Patia reported the highest number with 21 cases followed by 19 from Nayapalli, 12 from Saheed Nagar, 9 from Laxmisagar, 8 from Patrapada, 7 each from Rasulgarh, Satya Nagar and Unit-3, 6 each from Baramunda, Sailashree Vihar and Jharpada, 5 from Bomikhal and 4 each from Chandrasekharpur, Kharavela Nagar, Mancheswar, Kalinga Vihar, Ghatikia, Old Town, Salia Sahi, Forest Park, Unit-9, Unit-6 and Unit-4.

On the other hand, 329 patients have recovered.

With 105 deaths and 20,217 recoveries, Bhubaneswar has 3571 active cases.
