Bhadrak: The COVID-19 tally in Bhadrak district went up to 2,165 on Monday with an overnight addition of 66 positive cases.
According to the district administration, all the new patients are local contact cases.
Basudevpur block reported the highest of 27 cases, followed by 24 from Chandbali, seven from Basudevpur municipality, two from Bonth and one each from Bhadrak, Bhandaripokhari, Dhamnagar, Chandbali NAC and Tihidi. Another case was reported from an undisclosed location in the district
With six deaths and 1,187 recoveries, Bhadrak district has 972 active cases at present.
