Balasore: The COVID-19 positive cases in the north Odisha district of Balasore rose to 885 with 29 fresh cases detected in the last 24 hours.
Out of 29 new cases, 11 are from quarantine and 18 are local contact cases of which 6 are from Khaira and Basta blocks, 2 each from Baliapal and Sadar blocks and one each from Bahanaga and Remuna blocks.
With 2 deaths and 655 recoveries, Balasore district now has 225 active cases.
