Bhubaneswar: In order to enable the people to undergo COVID-19 test at an affordable price, the Odisha government on Wednesday further brought down the cost in private laboratories.
According to a notification by the Health and Family Welfare Department, a person undergoing the RT-PCR test in private laboratories will have to pay Rs 400 including the GST.
On July 3 this year, the government had capped the price of RT-PCR tests in private laboratories at Rs 2,200. Later, in a notification on August 26, it had slashed the price to Rs 1200.
