Bhubaneswar: The State Capital reported 16 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday with a gradual fall in the number of active cases.
Among the new cases, 8 are quarantine and 8 local contacts.
Out of 8 local contacts, 2 each are from Unit-6 and Unit-8 and one each from Bomikhal, Chandrasekharpur, Kalinga Vihar and Kanan Vihar.
On the other hand, 34 patients are cured of the disease.
Out of a total of 31,593 cases and 31,062 recoveries, Bhubaneswar so far has 239 deaths and 271 active cases.
