COVID-19 Update: 190 New Cases In Odisha Capital, 37 From Slums

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 positive cases in the city went up to 3763 on Saturday with 190 new cases in the last 24 hours.

Of 190 new cases, 138 were reported from quarantine centres and 52 local contacts.

Out of the above, 37 cases were reported from five slums, of which Kancha Sahi has the highest 21 cases. Besides, two employees of two private hospitals and two from a Central government hospital also tested positive for the virus.

Meanwhile, 103 more patients have been cured of the infection.

With 18 deaths and 2360 recoveries, Bhubaneswar has 1383 active cases.

Out of 6103 positive cases in Khurda district, Bhubaneswar accounts for 62 per cent cases.
