Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in the state capital rose to 30330 on Thursday with 46 new cases in the last 24 hours.
Among the new cases, 19 are quarantine and 27 local contacts.
While the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) in a tweet has mentioned 46 new cases on the top of the COVID-19 table, there is a mismatch in the numbers in the quarantine and local contacts table showing 22 and 20 cases respectively.
Going by the area-specific cases of local contacts mentioned in the table, 4 cases are from Patia, 3 from Laxmisagar, 2 each from Vani Vihar, Chandrasekharpur and Kanan Vihar and one each from Patrapada, Postal Colony, Tankapani Road, Kalinga Nagar, Khandagiri, Nayapalli and Shailashree Vihar.
With 201 deaths, Bhubaneswar has 29479 recoveries and 629 active cases at present.
