Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in the capital city climbed to 26,283 on Wednesday with the overnight 267 new cases.
Among the new cases, 73% are local contacts (196) and 71 are quarantine.
The highest 19 cases were reported from Nayapalli followed by 10 each from Baramunda and Unit-IX, 8 each from Old Town and IRC Village, 7 each from Rasulgarh and Patia, 6 each from Unit-VII and Unit-VIII, 5 each from Dumduma, Jagamara, Khandagiri and Mancheswar and 4 each from Jayadev Vihar and Chandrasekharpur.
On the other hand, 342 patients have recovered.
With 123 deaths and 22,867 recoveries, Bhubaneswar has now 3272 active cases.
