Bhubaneswar: The State Capital reported 9 new COVID-19 positive cases on Saturday.
Among the new cases, 2 are from quarantine centres and 7 local contacts.
Out of the local contacts, 2 are from Chandrasekharpur, 2 from Khandagiri Bari and 1 each from Rasulgarh, Unit I and Vaishnab Vihar.
On the other hand, 18 patients are cured of the disease.
Out of a total of 31,656 cases and 31,175 recoveries, Bhubaneswar so far has 242 deaths and 218 active cases.
