Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID caseload in the capital city on Monday slipped below the 1000 mark for the first time in five days.
Bhubaneswar registered 962 new COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours, tweeted Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation.
Of the new cases, 781 are the local contacts and 181 are from quarantine, it said.
Meanwhile, the capital city has reported recovery of 859 patients from the virus during the same period.
The COVID-19 caseload in the city now stands at 54,576, including 10,353 active cases.
