COVID-19 Update: Bhubaneswar Reports 78% Local Contacts Of 329 New Cases

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in the capital city went up to 21,526 on Tuesday with an overnight 329 new cases.

Among the new cases, 78% are local contacts (256) and 73 quarantine.

Nayapalli area in the city has reported the highest 19 cases followed by 15 in Unit-IX, 14 in Rasulgarh, 11 in Old Town, 10 each in Saheed Nagar and Patia, 8 each in Badagada and VSS Nagar, 7 each in Sundarpada and Niladri Vihar, 6 each in Laxmisagar, Jharpada, Pokhariput, Dumduma and Unit-4, 5 each in BJB Nagar, Sailashree Vihar, Unit-8 and Chandrasekhkarpur, and 4 each in Baramunda, Bomikhal, Ganga Nagar, IRC Village and Unit-VI.

On the other hand, the city reported 395 recoveries.

With 91 deaths and 17,892 recoveries, Bhubaneswar has 3526 active cases.
