Bhubaneswar: While Bhubaneswar has reported 64 new COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, there has been a continuous fall in the number of active cases.
Among the new cases, 17 are in quarantine and 47 are local contacts.
While Nayapalli has 4 cases, 3 are from Dumduma and 2 each from Badagada, Unit-9, Baramunda, Gandamunda, Niladri Vihar, Old Town, Bhimpur, Hansapal, Bomikhal, Jayadev Vihar, Chakeisiani, Satabdi Nagar, Chintamaniswar and Sundarpada.
On the other hand, 87 patients were cured of the disease and discharged from hospitals on Saturday.
With this, the total confirmed cases in the city now are 29,647.
With 179 deaths and 28,573 recoveries, Bhubaneswar has now 874 active cases.
