Bhubaneswar: After five days, the daily COVID-19 caseloads in Odisha came down below 10,000 on Tuesday with 9793 cases from 30 districts in the last 24 hours.
Of the new cases, 5534 are from quarantine and 4259 local contacts.
With this, the total positive cases in the state have gone up to 5,44,666.
Among the districts, Khurda tops the chart with 1511 cases followed by Sundargarh (1018), Cuttack (641), Angul (526), Jharsuguda (404), Nuapada (401), Jajpur (376), Sambalpur (356), Puri (351), Balangir (342), Balasore (314), Nabarangpur (302), Ganjam (276), Bargarh (270), Nayagarh (254), Keonjhar (244), Kalahandi (224), Mayurbhanj (199), Jagatsinghpur (189), Koraput (174), Kendrapada (158), Boudh (152), Rayagada (148), Sonepur (140), Deogarh (125), Gajapati (111), Kandhamal (101), Dhenkanal (91), Malkangiri (63) and Bhadrak (52).
Besides, the state pool has 280 cases.
With 4,57,569 recoveries, Odisha now has 94,829 active cases.
