Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s capital city reported single-digit COVID-19 positive cases for the second straight day. There were 8 fresh cases in the last 24 hours, one less than the previous day’s figure.
Of the new cases, 2 are from quarantine centres and 6 local contacts.
The local contact cases are one each from Bhimtangi, Khandagiri, Laxmisagar, Niladri Vihar, Palaspalli, and Sailashree Vihar.
Eighteen patients have been cured of the disease in the last 24 hours.
Out of a total of 31,664 cases in Bhubaneswar, as many as 31,193 have recovered. There have been 242 deaths while the number of active cases is 208.
