COVID-19 Update: Odisha Reports 1201 New Cases

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha went up to 2,94,415 on Tuesday with the addition 1201 cases overnight.

Of the new cases, 697 are in quarantine and 504 are local contacts.

Though Khurda led the district tally, it reported a further fall of new cases to 132. Jagatsinghpur and Mayurbhanj reported 73 cases each followed by Cuttack (69), Sundargarh (67), Ganjam (61), Bargarh (58), Nuapada (57), Balangir (52), Angul (49), Balasore (48), Kendrapada (43), Puri (43), Jharsuguda (35), Keonjhar (32), Sambalpur (31), Malkangiri (30), Jajpur (28), Koraput (28), Bhadrak (27), Kalahandi (26), Nabarangpur (24), Sonepur (24), Rayagada (15), Dhenkanal (14), Nayagarh (14), Kandhamal (9), Boudh (8), Deogarh (5) and Gajapati (2).

Besides, the state pool has 24 cases.

At present, Odisha has 13,919 active cases and 2,79,091 recoveries.
