COVID-19 Update: Odisha Reports 1219 New Cases

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 positive cases soared to 3,02,793 on Monday with 1219 new cases in the last 24 hours.

Among the new cases, 708 are from quarantines and 511 are local contacts.

The Khurda district having the highest cases in the state for a long time reported below 100 with 92 cases.

While Balasore and Sundagar districts recorded 107 cases each, Cuttack had 106 followed by Mayurbhanj (83), Angul (78), Jagatsinghpur (53), Kendrapada (50), Balangir (46), Keonjhar (40), Bargarh (39), Kalahandi (38), Jharsuguda (36), Puri (34), Jajpur (32), Sambalpur (32), Nuapada (31), Dhenkanal (30), Koraput (28), Nayagarh (23), Bhadrak (22), Sonepur (20), Ganjam (15), Nabarangpur (13), Kandhamal (10), Deogarh (9), Gajapati (9), Rayagada (7), Boudh (5), Malkangiri (5).

Besides, the state pool has 19 cases.

With 2,88,128 recoveries, Odisha has now 13,131 positive cases.
