Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha rose to 309,408 on Monday with 749 new cases reported overnight.
Of the new cases, 437 are in quarantine and 312 are local contacts.
Among the districts, Khurda led the tally with 88 new cases, followed by Mayurbhanj (78), Sundargarh (55), Jagatsinghpur (48), Angul: (45), Keonjhar (41), Cuttack (37), Balasore (38), Dhenkanal (31), Kendrapada (30), Sambalpur (28), Bargarh (24), Balangir (24), Jajpur (18), Nabarangpur (17), Bhadrak (15), Puri (15), Kalahandi (14), Nuapada (14), Malkangiri (10), Ganjam (7), Kandhamal (7), Nayagarh (6), Gajapati (5), Koraput (3), Deogarh (2) Sonepur (2) and Rayagada (2).
Besides, the state pool has 21 cases.
At present, Odisha has 9950 active cases and 297,862 recovered cases.
