COVID-19 Update: Sharp Rise In Local Contact Cases In Odisha’s Nayagarh

Nayagarh: The COVID-19 situation in Nayagarh district has become alarming with a sharp rise in the local contact cases.

While all 57 new cases reported in the last 24 hours are local contacts, the district in the last 18 days has registered 583 local contact cases out of total 585 positive cases since July 24.

Among 57 new cases on the day, Bhapur block reported the highest 27 followed by 16 in Odagan block, 7 in Khandapada, 4 in Ranpur and 3 in Daspalla block.

With 8 deaths and 626 recoveries, Nayagarh district has 462 active cases at present.
