Bhubaneswar: As apart of COVID-19 vaccination drive, Railway health workers including doctors, paramedical staff and other medical staff were vaccinated with Covaxin at Railway Hospital here.
A total of 234 health workers were given the jab at East Coast Railway’s Central Hospital at Mancheswar.
Similarly, 130 health workers at Khurda Road Divisional Railway Hospital were given the shot. For Khurda Road, Covishield vaccine of Serum Institute of India was used, stated a release of the ECoR.
East Coast Railway General Manager Vidya Bhushan had instructed Railway Medical authorities to take necessary precautions while administering these vaccines as per the direction of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
