Nabarangpur/Jajpur: Like other districts, COVID-19 vaccination began at Nabarangpur district headquarters hospital (DHH) on Saturday.
A security guard of the hospital was the first person to get the vaccine in the district after the Collector and CDMO inaugurated the vaccination programme.
On the first day, a total of 400 persons in the district are scheduled to get the vaccine at four places including the Nabarangpur DHH, Papadahandi, Nandahandi and Umarkote.
Likewise, the vaccination programme began at five places in Jajpur district.
It is underway at district headquarters hospital (DHH), Dasarathpur Community Health Cantre (CHC), Jajpur Road CHC, Badachana CHC and Madhuban CHC.
According to sources, doctors, nurses, Anganwadi workers and Asha workers are set to be vaccinated during the first phase.
