Berhampur: Vaccination against COVID-19 is likely to come to a halt in Berhampur as the city is left with Covishield stock only for today.
Due to shortage the health officials had to stop giving the jab at six out of eight vaccination units functioning from Berhampur Urban Health Centers on Monday.
On the day, the vaccination process was held at Aska Road and at Goodshed Road. These two centres too had stock only for today.
The six UHCs that have temporarily stopped the vaccination include Baikuntha Nagar, Red Cross, Khodasingi, Ambapua, Uttaramukhi and Aga Sahi centres.
If Covid vaccine stocks fails to reach Berhampur by today, all the 8 Covid vaccination centres would stop vaccination, said an officer in-charge of the vaccination process.
