Kendrapara: To contain the spread of COVID-19, the Kendrapara district administration on Thursday extended the weekend shutdown in the district till the end of July, with effect from Saturday.
District collector Samarth Verma said that there will be a complete shutdown in the district on Saturday and Sunday, with the same restrictions.
Night curfew during the month-long lockdown will remain in force from 9 pm to 5 am, he added.
