Berhampur: As the number of COVID-19 cases and deaths continue to rise in Ganjam, Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange has urged residents not to panic and cooperate with officials to contain the spread of the virus in the district.
Taking to the district administration’s official Twitter handle, the Collector informed that the cases were expected to increase due to “aggressive early detection of COVID positive” cases through door-to-door (D2D) survey.
The tweet also requested people not to hide symptoms from the teams conducting D2D surveys.
With 62 deaths and 4008 recoveries, Ganjam now has 2292 active cases.
