Bhubaneswar: The capital city logged 311 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours taking up the total number of infections in Bhubaneswar to 95,194. The city had registered 283 cases on Thursday.
Of the total cases, 82 are from quarantine and 229 are local contacts.
The highest of 19 cases are Nayapalli and 9 each from Chandrasekharpur, Jharpada, Khandagiri, Old Town and Patrapada.
The city registered 235 recoveries while there are 1,246 active cases. The number of deceased has touched 595 with 22 more deaths registered in the city during the period.
This has pushed the number of recovered cases to 93,332.
