Bhubaneswar: Despite a marginal rise, daily COVID cases on Friday continued to remain below 100 for the second consecutive day with 84 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours, against 77 cases on Thursday and 103 cases on Wednesday.
According to the I & PR Department, 49 cases are from quarantine and 35 cases are from local contacts. Among them, 12 are in the 0-18 age group. The state now has 622 active cases.

3. Balangir: 2
4. Cuttack: 10
5. Ganjam: 1
6. Jajpur: 2
7. Jharsuguda: 2
8. Kalahandi: 6
9. Kandhamal: 1
10. Khurda: 13
11. Mayurbhanj: 2
12. Nayagarh: 2
13. Nuapada: 5
14. Puri: 2
15. Sambalpur: 15
16. Sundargarh: 12
Besides, only three are from the state pool.
With 10,024 samples tested in the last 24 hours, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.83 per cent.
