Baripada: The number of COVID-19 cases in Mayurbhanj district touched 471 on Tuesday with three fresh cases being reported in the last 24 hours.
Of the new cases, two are in quarantine centres and one is in home quarantine.
The district administration informed that two cases were reported from Bijatala block and one from Baripada municipality.
All the three were returnees from Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir.
Contact tracing of all the positive cases is underway, the administration tweeted.
With 322 recoveries, Mayurbhanj district has 147 active cases at present.
